Asked Questions
Is a wedding planner required? Jonathan Club requires a certified wedding planner for all
ceremonies and receptions. A list of experienced planners familiar with the Club is available, and
planners outside of this list must be approved in advance.
Can we schedule a site visit? Private tours are arranged through the Club’s catering team. A
formal dress code is observed during all visits.
How are event details confirmed? All wedding reservations are secured with a formal contract,
with planning details finalized in collaboration with the special events team.
What is included in the overall estimate? Your estimate will include food and beverage, space
fees, ceremony fees, and additional elements such as linens, dance floor, and parking where
applicable.
Are food and beverage minimums required? Each space is associated with a food and beverage
minimum, determined by factors such as guest count, day of the week, and timing of the event.
When are menus finalized? Menu selections are confirmed approximately one month prior to
the wedding, with final guest counts and entrée selections due shortly before the event.
Can guests select their entrée? Multiple entrée selections may be offered. Couples are
responsible for confirming guest entrée selections 5 days prior to the wedding.
Are tastings available? Tastings are offered by appointment and provide an opportunity to sample
key menu selections. Availability and details will be coordinated through the catering team.
Is valet parking provided? Valet parking is available for all events.
Is there a dress code? Jonathan Club maintains a formal dress code. Guests are expected to
dress in classic, conservative attire appropriate to the setting.
Are candles permitted? Open Flame candles are only allowed with a fire permit from LA County.
LED votive alternatives are available through the Club.
Are vendors required to meet specific criteria? All vendors must be licensed and insured, and are
required to adhere to Club policies and complete necessary documentation prior to the event.
Is a rehearsal included? Ceremony rehearsal time and space are provided, subject to availability,
and are typically scheduled at the ceremony location.
