Can I bring my own vendors?
How does the booking process work?
Can I customize my floor plan?
Once event details have been finalized, a venue
estimate and rental contract will be prepared.
To secure a date, clients are required to sign the
rental agreement, submit the rental fee, and
provide a damage deposit. Remaining balances
are then scheduled in installments prior to the
event date.
Yes. Both venues prepare event floorplans and
require final approval of any layouts developed in
collaboration with outside design or décor teams.
What is the cancellation policy?
All payments are non-transferable and nonrefundable, with the exception of the damage
deposit.
All vendors must be approved by the venue and are
required to complete a vendor agreement prior to
the event. Vendors are also responsible for removing
all equipment during breakdown.
Are there décor restrictions?
Certain décor elements are not permitted, including
glitter, confetti, balloon drops, fog machines, and
decals applied to venue surfaces. Drilling, taping, or
attaching items to ceilings and chandeliers is also
prohibited.
Are candles, cold sparks, or special effects allowed?
What guest counts do the venues accommodate?
The Astorian typically hosts events between 200
and 350 guests and can accommodate up to 450
guests for seated dinners.
Le Tesserae most commonly hosts celebrations
between 200 and 300 guests.
Do I need a wedding coordinator?
Yes. Both venues require couples to work
with a professionally hired coordinator from
their approved network. In-house month-of
coordination may also be available.

Certain effects may be permitted with the appropriate
city permits and fire marshal requirements. Couples
should consult their planning and décor teams well
in advance to ensure all approvals are secured prior
to the event.
Are there venue-specific décor allowances?
The Astorian allows approved décor vendors to
suspend lightweight greenery from designated
overhead lighting grids with prior approval.
